Spike is an 8 month old Beardie who is very sweet and handsome. He is healthy and handled daily. He has never bitten anyone and we have had him since he was a hatchling. He was bought for my autistic son but he can not handle the feel of him so I am the one who does all the care and attention. I homeschool my son and do not have time or energy to do this for a lot longer. I take excellent care of him as he deserves though. I would love to find a home for him with a person who is familiar with reptiles in general or familiarity with Beardies is awesome.
Spike is a little over 18 inches long and will come with a 40 gallon breeder tank with stand and it has shelves my husband made for it as well. All of the branches, cave, 2 hammocks, custom ordered personalized leash and harness I bought from Etsy, bowls, a couple jars of organic baby food for emergency feeds, calcium powder and calcium spray, and any supplies I have. I have a basking light fixture with at least 3 bulbs for it. I have another fixture with a ceramic heat emitter in it. I also have a reptisun T8 fixture and bulb for UVB light. I would like to add as extras a 20 gallon long tank with screen lid and a metal stand my husband built for it. The tank has a small crack but it doesn't go all the way through and is fine for reptiles, hermit crabs, etc. I just don't need it and it is what we used for him when he was tiny.
Spike eats very well. He eats a large variety of veggies but loves yellow squash and curly mustard greens, spring mix without spinach, and arugala. I give him a slice of banana chopped up here and there. You can feed him by hand and he will eat fine. He doesn't require hand feeding though. He is fed a staple of dubia roaches with treats like hornworms and wax worms. I don't do crickets because they stink and they are noisy lol. I will send any roaches I have along with the container for them, roach chow to feed them and a half gallon jar of water crystals for them.
I have many photos but not sure how to add them to the listing. Please message me for photos.
